Following a sell out show in December featuring Reginald D Hunter, I’ve booked another full show at central Birmingham’s Old Joint Stock Theatre on January 30th.
Those attending have got full hour shows from two more great comics to enjoy. Jason Cook’s show is something I’ve already covered in some detail on this blog having seen it at the Edinburgh Festival and been blown away by the highly charged emotion of the last section of the show. Not for nothing was this show given the very rare five stars from comedy bible Chortle.
“. ..brutally truthful piece of comedy delight.” – Timeout
In a change to the earlier advertised programme, the other hour is from Tony Law – a coolly laid back Canadian with a truly remarkable imagination which the word surreal hardly seems to even hint at.
Tickets are available from a variety of souces and will be well worth every penny. And watch out for more regular shows to come including comedy god Stewart Lee on Feb 20th.

News update – Tony Law double booked and has been replaced by Susan Murray for this show. There are only ten tickets left available direct from the venue – call 200 0946
and watch out for Tony who is now coming April 23 with fellow canadian comic Craig Campbell
