This Sunday 23rd Sept I’ll be playing an hour long set from 6 – 7pm in a Marquee in the beer garden of the Prince of Wales pub in Moseley.

This is a very welcome addition to the gig circuit as the Prince hasn’t had a license for music in the garden for a while, but it is now being very well run by Keith Marsden the local entrepreneur behind the Epic Skate Park, a tremendous community resource that ultimately fell foul of some mean spirited local politics.

The beer garden has been a great local meeting place for years and now has a marquee and heating, so there’s no need to worry about the weather.

The feast of entertainment runs from 2pm til closing and features Del Camino (latino flavoured ska, funk, jazz), the Tim Amann (Extet (melodic and soulful contemporary jazz), the Walsall Jazz orchestra (a 19 piece big band) and Steve Ajao‘s Giant Blues Band, with DJs Dylan and Alf Tupper spinning tunes inbetween.

There’s also comedy, great food, good beers and friendly people guraranteed.
